Improving the Safety and Reliability of Drinking Water
America's drinking water is among the safest in the world, but there are still a number of challenges -- such as aging infrastructure, emerging contaminants, and climate events -- that could present issues in the near future.
In response, the EPA recently released the Drinking Water Action Plan that urges all levels of government, utilities, and community organizations to work together to increase the safety and reliability of our drinking water. The Plan is organized around six Priority Areas in which there is significant opportunity for leadership from states and other partners.
