Millennials Show Strong Saving Habits


Millennials are helping America save more money. A survey from the Princeton Survey Research Associates International, showed that Americans age 18-26 have more impressive saving habits than boomers, Bloomberg reported.

Thirty one percent of young adults have saved enough to cover three to five months’ worth of expenses, the survey showed. On the other hand, 32 percent of Americans age 53-62 said they have nothing set aside, per Bloomberg.

Americans older than 63 were the most likely to have a solid savings, with 44 percent saying they have at least six months’ worth of expenses in reserve.
